Definition: It is a synthetic alkyd based, anti-corrosive topcoat paint. It can be applied as both primer and topcoat thanks to its good adhesion to metal surfaces and filling the pores on the surface. It is resistant to all kinds of physical and chemical effects and forms a smooth and protective film coat on the surface.
Area of Application: Gemsa Antimel Anti-rust Paint; suitable for all challenging climatic conditions. Marine climate or tropical climates can be used in the protection of motor vehicles against corrosive fumes, construction equipment, ballast tanks of ships, stair guardrails, doors and storage facilities.

Application Thinner: Synthetic thinner (White spirit)
Method of Application: The surface to be applied should be cleaned from all kinds of oil, dirt and rust (sanded, scraped, burned or washed with solvent). It is applied to the cleaned metal surface in two coats of Gemsa Antimel Anti-rust Paint brought to the appropriate viscosity. 10% thinning is performed with the appropriate thinner.
Drying Time:
Touch drying: 2-3 hours Full drying: 10-11 Hours.
Non-dust drying: 45 minutes Hard drying: 72 hours.
Paintable Area: 9-10 m2 / kg (45 –microns dry film thickness)
10-11 m2 / lt (45-micron dry film thickness)
Storage Type and Duration: 1 year in a cool and dry environment not receiving direct sunlight, sealed packaging (+5°C to +30°C)
